Adam Copeland has thrown down the gauntlet for the upcoming AEW Collision episode this week.
Scheduled for the Saturday, January 13 Collision event, Copeland will engage in a singles match as part of an open challenge, an announcement made during the recent Dynamite Homecoming episode. This move comes on the heels of Copeland’s team securing victory in an eight-man tag team showdown on Dynamite Homecoming, and his recent triumph over Griff Garrison in a singles bout during the last Collision episode.
Adding to the excitement, Deonna Purrazzo is set to make her Collision debut in Saturday’s episode. Her signing was unveiled during the previous week’s Dynamite, and she is slated to square off against Red Velvet in what promises to be an electrifying match.
Additionally, the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship will be up for grabs on Saturday night. Brian Cage & The Gates of Agony will defend their titles against the team of Lance Archer & The Righteous.
Furthermore, a segment featuring Hangman Page’s return to Norfolk has been announced for Saturday’s show.
The Collision episode is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, followed by a Battle of the Belts special on TNT.
