AEW lost a locker room leader when Brodie Lee passed away on December 26th, 2020. Since then, AEW has done their best to pay tribute to his memory, and this week’s Dynamite will see a Homecoming.
Tony Khan has revealed two matches to commemorate the late Brodie Lee at AEW Dynamite Homecoming. Those matches will feature Brodie Lee’s protégés in action.
The upcoming Dynamite episode on Wednesday, January 10th, will be held at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. That venue is significant for AEW, as episodes of Dynamite were produced from there throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the first match, Brodie Lee’s protégé Anna Jay will team up with Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale to face off against Skye Blue, Ruby Soho, Saraya, and TBS Champion Julia Hart.
The second match will feature Brodie’s other protégé, Preston Vance, teaming with Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes, and AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy. They will face off against Lance Archer, Brian Cage, and the Gates of Agony.
We will have to see what else AEW adds to their episode of Dynamite this week. Only time will tell how the episode turns out, but we will have the headlines you need here at Ringside News.
