Matt Riddle became a controversial name in WWE because of his problematic actions outside the squared circle, but he never failed when it came to in-ring action. This is especially true for his time working with Randy Orton. He might not be part of WWE anymore, but that doesn’t mean Riddle has lost hope for a reunion with Randy Orton somewhere down the line.
Prior to Randy Orton’s injury hiatus, he and Matt Riddle were teaming up, as they were known as Team RKBro. They won tag team gold together and were viewed as highlights on WWE television.
While speaking on Signed by Superstars, The Original Bro talked about his unresolved issues with Randy Orton. Riddle noted that if he were to return, he wants to finish his story with Orton and possibly his team with Pete Dunne.
”I look at it like this, my big thing if I were to come back, I’d really like to finish the story with Randy. Unfortunately, he got hurt and the other thing too, even with Pete Dunne, it was unfortunate COVID happened. I feel like I never got to finish the story with The Broserweights. Seems like I always have unfinished business with my tag team partners.”
The former WWE Superstar also stated that he believes it is a guarantee that he and Randy Orton will reunite again, most likely in WWE. After all, they never got to finish what they started due to Orton’s injuries.
‘‘I would say unless one of us passes away, it’s a guarantee (that I’ll reunite with Orton). One way or another, I mean, ideally, it would probably be in the ‘E’ but I don’t see how it wouldn’t happen. There’s no way. I mean I’m gonna get to Randy one way or another.”
The Apex Predator previously gave Matt Riddle props for helping him through the matches by bearing the brunt of the physicality while Orton was still in considerable pain. It remains to be seen whether Orton and Riddle will reunite somewhere down the line, as fans would love that.
