WWE has seen numerous changes since Triple H took over as Head of WWE Creative last year. That doesn’t mean Triple H can’t have fun sometimes when he wants to. Therefore, it comes as no surprise he invited Shannon Sharpe to join future WWE events.
WWE has a longstanding history of working with celebrities, dating all the way back to the first-ever WrestleMania. The likes of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul are the best examples of celebrities being used right as well.
Shannon Sharpe is one of the most famous tight ends, who had a legendary run in the Denver Broncos. During a recent episode of his Nightcap talk show, Shannon Sharpe could be seen talking about growing up as a wrestling fan.
He mentioned how he was a fan of Georgia Championship Wrestling, as he saw the likes of Harley Race, Gordon Solie, Dusty Rhodes and many others. Triple H commented on the video, clearly impressed and so he invited Sharpe to join future WWE events.
”Love the respect and passion for the history of our business. @ShannonSharpe and the @NightcapShow_ crew are welcome to join us at a @WWE event any place, any time.”
Triple H also met up with Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger recently. We will have to wait and see whether Shannon Sharpe will take Triple H up on his offer somewhere down the line.
