The pro wrestling world saw some massive events in 2023, and 2024 is just getting started. Now, we can take a look at the top 10 biggest events of the year, and there are a lot of numbers to go through.

Wrestlenomics posted a list of the top 10 pro wrestling events, as they compiled data from Cagematch.net, WrestleTix, and Luchablog. It appears that there were a lot of fans attending big events all over the place.

The highest attendances in professional wrestling for 2023, based on ticket distribution, include notable events such as AEW All In London 2023 in London, England with 81,035 fans. WWE WrestleMania 39 in Inglewood, California came up second.

WrestleMania 39 on Sunday had an estimated distribution of 67,553 tickets, while the Saturday event saw 67,303 distributed tickets. Other significant WWE events on the list are SummerSlam 2023 in Detroit, Michigan, with 51,477 attendees, and Royal Rumble 2023 in San Antonio, Texas, with 47,585 distributed tickets.

International events like NOAH Keiji Muto Grand Final Pro-Wrestling Last Love Hold Out in Tokyo, Japan, and NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Tokyo Dome, Japan, also made the list with 30,096 and 26,085 distributed tickets, respectively. We will have to see what international events await us in 2024, but fans are obviously showing up all over the world to see pro wrestling.

Additionally, WWE Backlash 2023 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and WWE Money In The Bank 2023 in London, England, UK, had 17,966 and 17,617 distributed tickets, respectively. Other WWE events, including Survivor Series 2023, Friday Night SmackDown, and Live Holiday Tour, also contributed to the wrestling attendance figures for the year.

WWE and AEW will undoubtably bring huge events for 2024. All In London 2 is already booked for August 25th, 2024. WrestleMania 40 is also going to sell out two nights in Philadelphia in April.
