WWE has seen a lot of people come through the company, but one former Superstar is really trying his hardest to reinvent himself and get back into a major spotlight. Chris Masters is still grinding out there, and he doesn’t want anyone to forget about it.

Chris Masters received a substantial push after he debuted for WWE in 2005, as his Master Lock Challenge was a featured segment on WWE television every week. That being said, after getting pushed rather quickly in WWE, his initial stint concluded in 2007, and after a brief return in 2009, he was fired once again in 2011.

Chris Masters is eager for another opportunity with a major wrestling promotion, even at 40-years-old. He has been busy on the road, taking dates all over the world, but he hasn’t found his way back to WWE

In a video statement, Chris Masters expressed his interest in exploring opportunities with TNA, AEW, or WWE. He said that he’s been evolving his character and would like to show them what he can do.

Kinda see what’s out there for me. I have had the last couple fo years I’ve been in the NWA trying to develop myself and trying to evolve my character in every way that I possibly could, and now I’d like to bring that to whether it be AEW, Impact Wrestling, or of course, WWE.

Chris Masters has worked for various independent promotions, later finding a place in TNA and the NWA. Throughout his time away from WWE, he dedicated efforts to enhancing his in-ring skills, and it appears that he wants to make his character stand out even more.

We will have to see what is in store for Chris Masters in 2024. The Masterpiece is still ripped, but he hasn’t been back to WWE. Only time will tell if this is his year.
