Enzo Amore, also known as nZo, addressed the rumors of a beef with Joey Janela and clarified the situation during an interview with “K&S WrestleFest.”
nZo explained that there was never a real issue between him and Joey Janela. The rumors of a beef originated from a brief tussle that occurred during a concert, but nZo emphasized that he’s always ready to defend himself if he feels threatened. He mentioned that if someone approaches him with a desire to fight, he instinctively puts his hands up, regardless of who it is.
Regarding the viral video clip of the incident, nZo downplayed it since it was only eight seconds long. He acknowledged that he and Joey Janela later saw each other in public and shook hands, signaling that any tensions had been resolved.
“There was never a beef, guys,” nZo told “K&S WrestleFest.” The two men were recorded in a brief tussle during a concert which is where the rumors stem from, but according to the star, he’s simply always ready for a fight. “If you walk up to me and you said you wanna fight, I put my hands up, that’s all. I don’t care who you are. If I feel threatened, I’m gonna put my hands up.”
Furthermore, nZo stated that he doesn’t carry animosity or hatred toward anyone and has better things to focus on. Joey Janela has also commented on the situation, taking responsibility for riling up nZo during the incident. Janela admitted to being intoxicated at the time and mentioned that he only learned about the situation after the clip went viral.
In summary, nZo clarified that there was no actual beef with Joey Janela and that any misunderstandings had been resolved amicably.
