AEW has a lot of people who are out of action for one reason or another. Some fans may have even forgotten about Pac at this point, because his absence has been extensive this time around. Now, the wait to see him is coming to an end.

Pac is gearing up for a return to the wrestling ring after a six-month hiatus. The news came during a virtual signing for Highspots, where Penta El Zero Miedo mentioned that PAC would be making his way back to AEW.

Dave Meltzer confirmed this on Wrestling Observer Radio. He didn’t say much about Pac’s status, but he did confirm that the former NXT Champion will be back soon.

“He’s back soon, I know that.”

Pac’s last match saw him beat Gravity on the July 26th episode of Dynamite. Following that encounter, it was announced in August that he sustained an injury, but the specifics of that injury were undisclosed. He was going with some momentum, but that was shut down, and he hasn’t been seen in six months.

Prior to these injury-related breaks, Pac was in some high-profile matches for AEW. He was in the Blood & Guts match last July and a title challenge against Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World title at Death Before Dishonor. Hopefully, he can get back on track whenever he returns.

Pac, Penta, and Rey Fenix are the Death Triangle in AEW. As former Trios Champions, we can only hope that they can get back to business the moment Pac is available.
