Drew McIntyre’s future with WWE has been a subject of speculation, as his contract is reportedly set to expire this year. In fact, McIntyre and WWE are still at an impasse as his contract expiry draws near.
As previously reported, Drew McIntyre was contemplating many options while his contract expiration date came closer. Fans are still convinced there is no way McIntyre would leave WWE in any way.
According to Mike Johnson on PWInsider’s Q&A session, he was asked if Drew McIntyre signed an extension on his contract. Johnson noted that WWE and McIntyre have yet to reach an agreement, so they are still at an impasse.
”We have not heard WWE and McIntyre have come to terms on a new deal yet.”
It’s important to mention that McIntyre’s contract, originally set to expire in April 2024, was extended due to his absence. Nonetheless, McIntyre’s contractual status with WWE is still a topic of discussion.
The Scottish Warrior also failed to defeat Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Day 1 edition of Monday Night RAW this week. McIntyre would then reveal what’s next for him. Only time will tell if McIntyre will decide to sign a new contract with WWE in the end.
