WWE is always looking to boost their roster, and the NXT brand is getting a nice focus as well. That could bring any number of talented performers to the company, including former NWA Women’s Champion Kamille.

Kamille became a free agent on January 1st, 2024. Her contract with Billy Corgan’s company expired, and she might have a lot more in store for her. That being said, WWE has now put it all on paper.

PW Insider noted that Kamille and WWE as in talks to the point where a contract is on the table. As of this writing, it is unclear whether Kamille will take the NXT deal they offered.

WWE sources have confirmed a WWE NXT deal was offered to former NWA Women’s Champion Kamille.

WWE may have their eye on bringing Naomi back to the company. If they can also sign Kamille to an NXT deal, then that could be a big addition to the women’s roster.

In 2023, the NWA experienced the departure of several top stars, and 2024 started out with losing Kamille. It seems she may not remain a free agent for long.

Kamille’s departure is significant for the NWA, considering her NWA World Women’s Championship reign that lasted 812 days. Her final NWA match occurred on the November 18th, 2023, episode of Powerrr, where she, along with her real-life husband Thom Latimer, lost to Looks That Kill.

The focus now shifts to whom WWE can sign in 2024, with a few notable options on the table. While WWE added some names to their roster in 2023, the upcoming year may see even more top-caliber Superstars show up.

We will keep our eye on this story, and so many more, from the entire pro wrestling world, here at Ringside News. You never know what headline will break next, or which big free agent they are going to sign next.

What’s your take on this situation with Kamille and WWE? Should so sign an NXT deal? Would that be a great get for the NXT brand? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
