WWE has a lot of options when it comes to who then can bring in. They are experiencing a booming period in the company’s history, and it appears that one former champion from the Women’s Division is coming back.

May 2022 saw Sasha Banks and Naomi walk out of WWE. This was due to Vince McMahon’s booking, but he is not a factor anymore. That could change things, while opening the door for a big return.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Naomi is expected to make a return to WWE. Her TNA Wrestling deal is up soon and many within the company have believed for awhile now that she would be heading back to WWE.

Trinity Fatu (Naomi) will return here shortly after finishing up her TNA contract. Fightful first reported that it was likely and our WWE sources said it was expected and in the current plans. There had been unofficial talks with her dating back nearly a year and those in TNA expected this would happen when her deal was up.”

WWE reportedly held off on attacking the free agent market until 2024. Only time will tell when Trinity returns to WWE, or how it happens, but it is expected.

Regarding the other woman who walked out with Naomi, Sasha Banks, it doesn’t appear that she is coming back to WWE now. Money was an issue with Mercedes Mone, meaning that they couldn’t come to a deal at this time; so her AEW debut is now expected.

We will keep our eye on this story, and so many more from the pro wrestling world. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all the headlines you need.
