WWE Superstars live their lives outside the industry, and sometimes their time away from the ring garners headlines. This is very true whenever anyone is arrested, and Liv Morgan knows all about that now.
Liv Morgan was arrested at 6:30 PM on December 14th for possession of marijuana (not exceeding 20 grams), possession of drug equipment, and possession of drugs, potentially synthetic cannabinoids. This was a messy situation as Liv Morgan awaits her WWE return, but now we have some updates.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Liv Morgan retained the services of Jack Goldberger, who is a well-known criminal defense attorney in Florida. He has already had her felony synthetic marijuana charge dropped.
Regarding Liv Morgan and her arrest a few weeks back, she hired Jack Goldberger, one of the best criminal attorneys in Florida. The state dropped the synthetic marijuana charge which was the felony and transferred the marijuana case to a different division which hasn’t been listed yet. The belief at this point is most likely it will be a misdemeanor charge and most first-time offenders with marijuana in Florida pay a fee of $100, and they’ll drop the charges without anything appearing on her record
It was previously reported that Liv Morgan’s recent arrest isn’t expected to change any plans for her WWE return. The company already had her figured out for a 2024 return, and it doesn’t appear that has changed.
There is a rumor going around that Liv Morgan may have taken the heat for someone else. We will have to see if that comes up in her trial. It appears that Liv Morgan is more than ready to fight anything in court with this new legal backing.
