AEW has a lot of options on the table, and this means surprises could be in store for fans. Only time will tell what Tony Khan has up his sleeves, but it could include the return of a fan-favorite act.
Jack Perry has not returned to AEW television since All In London, where he was involved in that infamous backstage scuffle with CM Punk, the very one that resulted in Punk’s firing. Tony Khan didn’t make Perry The Devil, and other things could point to him coming back in a different way.
It was previously noted that Killswitch, the former Luchasaurus, is obviously on his way to a big babyface run. That just might include Jack Perry at this point.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Jungle Boy is coming back to reunite with Luchasaurus. This could bring back a babyface team.
“I presume that now that he’s not the devil, Jungle Boy coming back to reunite with Luchasurasus.”
It was also noted that Jack Perry just filed a couple of interesting trademarks. “Jurassic Express” and “A Boy and His Dinosaur” now belong to Jack Perry. It will be very interesting to see what happens.
Marko Stunt is no longer in AEW, so the trip of the Jurassic Express may not come back together. Then again, you never know what Tony Khan might do to pop a nostalgic reaction from his fan base.
We will keep an eye on this story, and so many more, right here at Ringside News. There are a lot of plans in motion, and we can’t wait to bring you all the headlines you need.
