WWE Pushed Back Free Agent Discussions Until Start Of 2024

WWE has a lot of plans for the future, and you never know what they will announce next. It appears that 2023, a year with fantastic numbers for the company, may be followed by a big 2024.

Deonna Purrazzo is set to break the free agent market wide open. There are also reports that she could be going to AEW, because there have been talks.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Deonna Purrazzo and WWE have also had talks. That being said, WWE is reportedly pushing off free agent talks until the start of the year.

We’re told there had been contact with WWE, but WWE sources indicated that most if not all of their free agent discussions had been tabled until the new year started.

We just entered into 2024, so it’s anyone’s guess what they will do to shake things up. This year has a ton of potential, and Deonna Purrazzo could do a lot of work for whichever company she lands in next.

Deonna Purrazzo was a part of WWE’s NXT brand, but she departed from the company after they didn’t do much with her. Purrazzo wasn’t a free agent for long, as Impact Wrestling quickly snatched her up, even by giving her the Knockouts Title before she was officially signed by the company.
