Spoilers For January 2nd WWE NXT New Year’s Evil Show

WWE’s NXT brand is preparing to bring New Year’s Evil for fans this week. With only a short time until the show starts, we are getting spoilers for what to expect.

Sean Sapp dropped a few notes behind Fightful’s paywall that let fans know what is in store for them tonight with New Year’s Evil.

Fightful’s Corey Brennan has learned some notes from tonight’s NXT. That includes the opening and closing matches this week for the show.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Blair Davenport is set to open the show. It was also said that Ilja Dragunov vs. Trick Williams is set to close the show.

Carlito was at the venue this afternoon. It was previously reported that he will take Dragon Lee’s spot on the show.

Also, Ridge Holland’s promo was scheduled to be a pre-tape. It was also reported that there were some issues with the shuttles that led to many fans ubering over to the venue.
