AEW President Tony Khan oversees everything that goes on in the company and that includes the women’s division, which isn’t always seen in the best light lately. With the women’s roster expanding, Khan has made it clear that he thinks introducing AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles would be a great idea.

Since its start, the AEW Women’s Division has faced scrutiny, with fans expressing concerns about insufficient attention. Some argue that Tony Khan, AEW’s head, may not have prioritized the division as much as other aspects of the promotion.

In the years since its debut, AEW’s Women’s Divison has seen a lot of growth as more and more talent sign with the company. Therefore, fans wonder if AEW will finally introduce tag titles for women.

While speaking during the post-AEW Worlds End media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about introducing AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles. Khan made it clear he is more than open to the idea and feels it would be great for the company.

‘I think it would be great. We have shown we can expand our programming, certainly, there’s been, some of the best matches and exciting rivalries we’ve ever had in the women’s division in the recent few weeks and months. Absolutely, I think that would be tremendous and it’s something I’m open to doing. There are a lot of great tandems, some that are active right now, they could be great for that and there are also some that have not teamed for now. I do think there’s a lot of great opportunities in that and it’s certainly something to keep an eye on.”

Saraya has already called for AEW to introduce Women’s Tag Team Championships in the past. We will have to wait and see when the company will end up introducing the tag team titles.
