AEW Worlds End served as Tony Khan’s company’s final pay-per-view in 2023, and the promotion was committed to delivering a night of action that would be remembered. That doesn’t mean the company isn’t already looking ahead to 2024, as the company has already confirmed the another match for the January 3rd, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Orange Cassidy has been on a roll as the AEW International Champion since he won it back a few months ago and never failed to show why he is truly the workhorse champion of the company.
During the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view, Dante Martin and Orange Cassidy had a backstage segment. During the segment, it was officially confirmed that Martin would challenge Cassidy for the AEW International Championship on the January 3rd, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, which will emanate from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
That’s not all as Mariah May is also set to make her much-awaited in-ring debut on the show as well. It is expected that Tony Khan will announce more matches and segments for the episode in the coming weeks.
