WWE has undergone quite a few changes since Triple H took over as Head of WWE Creative last year. Recent reports have suggested that WWE will be bringing back a former Champion for the Day 1 edition of Monday Night RAW and now Triple H has responded to the reports.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that the company plans on bringing back a former WWE Champion for the Day 1 edition of Monday Night RAW on January 1st, 2024. Naturally, this got fans taking in a big way about who it could be.

It was further noted that the former WWE Champion the company wants to bring isn’t on the roster right now. For what it’s worth, Mercedes Mone is no longer talking to WWE about a potential return.

Triple H took to Twitter and addressed the reports of WWE bringing back a former champion for the Day 1 edition of Monday Night RAW. as he chose to remain coy and didn’t confirm nor deny the rumors.
