Adam Copeland took a big risk when he left WWE and ended up in AEW. Now, he is a champion in Tony Khan’s company.
Ringside News provided complete play-by-play coverage of AEW Worlds End. It was an interesting show from start to finish.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage threw down in a No DQ match at AEW Worlds End. That match was brutal, and included tables, ladders, and chairs.
In one spot, a flaming table was in play, and Nick Wayne took a powerbomb onto that table. Then Adam Copeland hit a Killswitch on Christian Cage, his own finisher, and he got the win to become the new TNT Champion.
Afterward, Killswitch came to the ring with his guaranteed TNT Championship match contract. He then surrendered that contract to Christian who had the match restarted, and he laid out Adam Copeland with a spear to win the title right back.
We will have to see what is next in this situation for AEW. After all, this year has been a wild one, especially for everyone involved. Adam Copeland was supposed to defend his new TNT Title against the former Luchasaurus at a later date, because the wrestling dinosaur won the battle royal in the Zero-Hour show.
