WWE Could Snag Another Top Star To Contract

WWE has pulled down some of the biggest pro wrestling names out there, and it looks like another top name on the world’s stage is heading to WWE. Giulia has been on WWE’s radar for a long time, and now it appears she is interested.

Reports have indicated that WWE has been interested in Giulia for several months. She is currently holding the New Japan Strong Women’s Championship after defeating Willow Nightingale, so Giulia is still bound by her contract until March. That prevents her from signing with any company, including WWE. That being said, WWE is still interested.

In the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Giulia appears to be leaning towards signing with WWE.

“Giulia right now is seen as likely to be coming here in 2024. Her contract expires with Stardom in March. She may not be coming in right away, but as of right now she’s leaning toward coming here in 2024.”

Contrary to initial expectations, AEW did not actively pursue Giulia, despite assumptions that they might make a move for the NJPW star. It appears that AEW did not go for her, and WWE’s interest may have played a part in that.

We will have to see what Giulia does next, because she has some options on the table. The STARDOM star could always stay in Japan, but it appears that indications are that she is going to WWE.
