Gypsy Rose Blanchard went to prison for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Now that her time behind bars is over, she had quite a ride out of incarceration.
According to a report from People, after being released early from prison on Thursday, December 28th, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was picked up by her husband. The car he drove had a wrestling-themed Bret Hart license plate with the inscription “HITMAN.”
Gypsy Rose Blanchard served seven years in prison for the murder of her mother. She was granted parole earlier this year and was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri around 3:30 a.m., and she had that Hitman ride waiting on her.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s case drew attention for the unique circumstances surrounding her mother’s murder, involving deceptive health claims and questions of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. She and her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, planned out Dee Dee Blanchard’s murder and followed through with it. Godejohn is spending life behind bars for his crime, but Gypsy is out.
Bret “The Hitman” Hart has fans from all over the world. Apparently, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s new husband is rocking for The Hitman. If anything it made for a very ironic moment, considering the nature of Blanchard’s crime.
We will have to see if Gypsy Rose Blanchard is spotted at any pro wrestling events. It seems that her new husband is a WWE fan. If anything, she is going to start this new phase in her life, and is happy to do so.
