Cody Rhodes is known for his charisma and relatable attitude, making him a fan favorite. He has gained even more favor in recent weeks and that has translated to WWE live events well. In fact, Rhodes made a bold declaration during a recent WWE live event and also gifted yet another table.
Since his return at WrestleMania 38 last year, the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, has consistently been a major draw for WWE. His popularity is evident in the continuous high sales of merchandise throughout the past year.
Cody Rhodes wasn’t able to finish the story at WrestleMania 39 after being unable to defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Rhodes then made it his life’s mission to finish the story and dethrone Reigns.
After Cody Rhodes’ match against Dominik Mysterio during the 27th December WWE Live Event in Boston, Rhodes cut a promo on the crowd. He declared that he would be a champion the next time he was in Boston and then went on to gift a broken table to a fan in attendance.
”I’ll tell you something, I’m getting tired of walking in here empty-handed. When we come back to Boston, I’ll have gold around my waist. We’re not actually empty-handed, in the spirit of the holiday season, I think someone should get this table. It’s gotta be the loudest person in here. ”
Cody Rhodes even gifted a fan a table after Friday Night Smackdown earlier this month. This isn’t even the first time Cody Rhodes gifted something this year, as he even gifted an army veteran table just before Survivor Series last month. It remains to be seen how Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
