AEW Worlds End is scheduled for December 30th and fans couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming pay-per-view. After all, a lot of storylines will be concluding at the event, especially The Devil storyline. However, AEW seems to have changed a match at Worlds End after announcing it this week.
Sammy Guevara returned during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which was his first appearance since his concussion at AEW WrestleDream. He was attacked and kicked out by the Don Callis Family.
Chris Jericho came out for the save and this resulted in Sammy Guevar aligning himself with Chris Jericho once again. It was then announced that he will be teaming up with Chris Jericho Sting and Darby Allin to take on Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, Ricky Starks & Big Bill at AEW Worlds End on December 30th.
However, the company seems to have changed up the match somewhat. In a new poster for the upcoming match, Konosuke Takeshita ended up replacing Kyle Fletcher in the tag team bout. We’ll have to wait and see whether AEW will explain this change soon.
As a reminder, Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of AEW Worlds End on December 30, 2023. Keep checking back for any late-breaking news regarding the event.
