CM Punk had his first match back in WWE at Madison Square Garden. That match against Dominik Mysterio brought a ton of fans to MSG, and now we have a bit more information about the match.

WWE loves documenting things, and owning footage. They like to have cameras everywhere, just in case they need it for late. CM Punk’s in-ring return was no different, and they wanted that footage.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE was there with cameras filming the MSG show. That filming included CM Punk’s in-ring return at Madison Square Garden. Only time will tell if they end up airing it, but they may do that later.

WWE did have cameras at WWE MSG as they do for every live event, and said that parts of the show could end up airing later.

CM Punk and Dominik Mysterio will wrestle again. They are set to throw down at the December 30th house show at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles.

CM Punk’s return to WWE meant a lot to fans, and the Madison Square Garden show broke a record in WWE. Now, we will have to see what is in the future for the Second City Savior in WWE.
