CM Punk made his return to a WWE ring at MSG on December 26th. That match against Dominik Mysterio was very special, and fans in MSG broke a record to make sure it was cemented in WWE history.

Dominik Mysterio was CM Punk’s first opponent for that big match. He will also take on the Second City Savior once again on December 30th at Los Angeles’ KIA Forum. Punk seemed to have a good time at the show, and it didn’t come without a cryptic post.

CM Punk shared a mysterious message on social media following his match against Dominik Mysterio at a live event in Madison Square Garden. Of course, like with most of CM Punk’s posts, it garnered some considerable attention.

In CM Punk’s latest Instagram story, The Straight Edge Superstar is seen backstage, walking with his luggage, while the song “Back Where I Belong” by Rancid plays in the background. He is friends with Rancid, but the name of the song also spoke volumes.
