CM Punk’s return to WWE was something that many fans didn’t think would ever happen. Although he may not wrestle on television until the Royal Rumble, the Second City Savior got back to action tonight in Madison Square Garden.

CM Punk took on Dominik Mysterio in Madison Square Garden on December 26th. That stop on WWE’s Holiday Tour in MSG was something special. Fans were shouting CM Punk chants the moment the doors opened. The match concluded when CM Punk hit the GTS on Dominik for the win.

CM Punk said that he wanted to slap Dominik Mysterio since he was 8-years-old. That was quite a statement, because they have some history with each other. Now, Dominik Mysterio is playing a hated heel versus the babyface Punk.

CM Punk was almost at a loss for words when he arrived at MSG. It has certainly been a wild ride for Punk over the past year. Now, he is home in WWE.

This was a big moment for CM Punk, as he returned to a WWE ring. The moment was made even more special as it went down in Madison Square Garden. That’s not a bad way to wrap up 2023, and the Second City Savior has even more reason to be happy about his decision to return to WWE

CM Punk’s return to WWE is now fully engaged. He will also wrestle Dominik Mysterio on December 30th at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California.
