Chelsea Green had ambitious plans for the “Chelsea’s Got Talent” angle during her WWE run alongside Sonya Deville as Women’s Tag Team Champions. Although the angle was cut short, Green had a significant goal in mind for it.

In an interview with Spencer Loves Interviews, Chelsea Green discussed her original vision for the “Chelsea’s Got Talent” angle. While the angle didn’t reach its conclusion, she had big aspirations, one of which involved a potential showdown with Cardi B.

Green revealed, “If I’m being honest, I wanted Cardi B. If I couldn’t get Cardi B, I wanted to wrestle Cardi B.”

The angle had showcased talent from various backgrounds, including main roster WWE talent, announcers like Cathy Kelly, R-Truth, and even promising NXT talent like Karmen. Additionally, it featured reality stars such as Heidi Montag from “The Hills.” Chelsea was intrigued by the diversity of potential opponents, and it was still in the preliminary rounds when it was discontinued, with no one making it to the semifinals or finals.

While Cardi B’s rumored involvement with WWE for SummerSlam a couple of years ago didn’t materialize due to her pregnancy announcement at the 2021 BET Awards, the idea of her collaborating with WWE hasn’t been completely abandoned. Cardi B’s recent social media activity, particularly her exchanges with her soon-to-be ex-husband Offset, has demonstrated her ability to create intense and engaging promos, akin to WWE-style feuds.

Following the loss of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Katana Chance and Kayden Carter on the December 18th episode of WWE RAW, it’s likely that Chelsea Green will strive to regain those titles. She has already initiated a social media campaign to seek justice for the loss, indicating her determination to reclaim championship gold in WWE.

How do you think a potential showdown between Chelsea Green and Cardi B in WWE would have played out, and do you believe it would have been a compelling match?
