Liv Morgan recently found herself in a legal predicament that left many in disbelief. Liv was arrested for possession of marijuana following traffic stop in Sumter County, Florida. The incident also raised concerns about potential possession of synthetic cannabinoids. That said, an ex-WWE star credited the #FreeLiv campaign after Joe Biden issued a nationwide pardon for cannabis charges.
Adding to the challenging situation, Liv Morgan is now scheduled for arraignment on February 12th, 2024, regarding the marijuana possession charges. Fans were understandably shocked by these developments, given her positive reputation both inside and outside the wrestling world.
It didn’t take long before Liv Morgan became a meme online as fans have either been praising her mugshot for looking beautiful or made fun of her for getting arrested. Last week, the #FreeLiv campaign gained momentum as well. In an official statement made on The White House website, Joe Biden issued a nationwide pardon for cannabis charges. Top Dolla took to Twitter and credited the #Liv campaign for this decision.
“As I have said before, convictions for simple possession of marijuana have imposed needless barriers to employment, housing, and educational opportunities”
It was previously reported that Liv Morgan’s recent arrest isn’t expected to change any plans for her WWE return. The company already had her figured out for a 2024 return, and it doesn’t appear that has changed.
Liv Morgan is also facing a felony charge following her arrest. Liv Morgan has been active on social media since her release from that short stint behind bars. She hasn’t mentioned her arrest yet but we hope things will work out for her in the end.
Do you think the #FreeLiv campaign is the real reason for this pardon from Joe Biden? Let us know in the comments.
