Dominik Dijakovic had a decent run in NXT, but that was all thrown out of the window after his main roster debut. He was known as T-Bar on the main roster and had a lackluster run on the main roster, followed by Retribution’s breakup. He’s back as Dijak in NXT for the past year and after a major tease about an NXT star challenging for the AJPQ Title, Dijak claimed that the announcement is about him.
Katsuhiko Nakajima is the current AJPW Triple Crown Champion and has been booked very well since becoming the champion. That said, things might be changing for him next year.
As previously reported, an NXT Superstar was recently teased as future opponent for Katsuhiko Nakajima. Naturally, this meant that the forbidden door between WWE and AJPW would also be kicked open.
In light of this major announcement, Dijak took to Twitter and claimed that he was the mystery NXT Superstar who will be going to AJPW for the title, adding that it was because he is tall and muscular.
”Clearly this announcement is about me.
Because I’m tall and muscular you savages!”
WWE has wanted to break into the Japanese market for a very long time and this might be their first major way to finally make any advancement. It remains to be seen who will end up becoming the mystery NXT star.
