Snoop Dogg is one of the biggest rappers in the world and has always been affiliated with the world of professional wrestling. The legendary rapper truly loves the business and that was on full display at WrestleMania 39. Ahead of WrestleMania 40 next year, the rapper entrusted his trusted golden WWE Title belt to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The rapper received the golden WWE Championship from Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch at the WrestleMania Launch Party at SoFi Stadium in August 2022. He brought it on the Holidaze of Blaze Tour “to show the fans how dope it is,” but it was then stolen.
Even Pete Davidson was spotted with Snoop Dogg’s golden WWE Championship during a Pro Bowl game. Rob Gronkowski had the title and then William Shatner and so many other celebrities had it afterwards.
WWE uploaded a video on Twitter, which showed Snoop Dogg handing over his Golden WWE Championship to the Philadelphia Eagles, as Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson and many others were entrusted with the belt to keep it safe until WrestleMania 40.
”Ahead of #WrestleMania 40 in Philly, @SnoopDogg has entrusted the Philadelphia @Eagles with his #WWEGoldenTitle! Let’s see if they can hold onto it until WrestleMania 👀”
It is evident that WWE is trying to create a storyline with Snoop Dogg’s Golden WWE Championship once again. WrestleMania 40 will take over Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, 2024. The Showcase of the Immortals will undoubtedly bring a loaded two-night event to Philly, so we’ll have to see how this storyline progresses in the coming months.
