Bayley has committed her future to WWE by signing a new multi-year contract. This development comes shortly after it was reported that another top WWE Superstar, Charlotte Flair, also inked a new contract with the company.
PWInsider first broke the news, writing on Thursday, “WWE has come to terms with Bayley for a new deal, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.” Ringside News was also able to confirm the report.
This move appears to be part of WWE’s ongoing strategy to secure its top talent with long-term contracts, preventing them from potentially becoming free agents. Notably, Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio recently extended their contracts with WWE as well.
Bayley originally signed with WWE in late 2012 and made her debut in NXT in 2013. Over the course of her career, she has achieved significant success within WWE, capturing titles such as the NXT Women’s Championship, the Raw Women’s Championship, the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the Women’s Tag Team Titles. In 2019, she also emerged victorious in the Women’s Money in the Bank Match.
Currently, Bayley is scheduled to participate in the women’s Royal Rumble match at the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble 2024 premium live event. The event is set to take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, and will be broadcast live on Peacock.
