CM Punk is back in WWE, and that means he mended a lot of bridges. Triple H and Punk made up, and that’s not all.

Road Dogg and CM Punk had a history with each other, but now that is water under the bridge. Road Dogg and the Second City Savior were able to spend some quality time together recently, and that really paid off.

During his Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg spoke about his beef with CM Punk. It seems that he was able to squash that as well.

“All that negativity came out of me when he looked at me and he shrugged. And it’s like that ‘Brothers, don’t shake hands, brothers gottta hug’ thing, and we hugged. It made me feel good for him to do that, by the way.”

“It made me immediately feel ashamed of my behavior, not his, not anything he did. It made me ashamed of my behavior. We then had a couple of ‘I believe God works in mysterious ways,’ and he worked that weekend. That weekend, I was stuck in Stamford. Every bit of it was orchestrated to put me and Punk in certain situations. We were just put together for like five days in a row working together and speaking about the future, and working with what I do in my job.”

Road Dogg said that experience convinced him to “look at everyone through God’s eyes,” and stop saying bad things about people, including CM Punk. There are a lot of negative things that went on, and now he can take that back.

CM Punk has turned a new leaf since returning to WWE. He is getting along with a lot of people that he used to feud with, and he’s working well so far. Only time will tell how things pan out, because Punk hasn’t even wrestled a match yet.

CM Punk can be irritable, but you never know what the future holds. At least it seems that Road Dogg has nice things to say about Punk right now.
