QT Marshall announced that he is leaving AEW in 2024, and that means he only has a few days left with Tony Khan’s company. Now, we are getting a bit more information about what might await him.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that QT Marshall’s affiliation with All Elite Wrestling will conclude on January 1st, and reports indicate that he has essentially wrapped up his association with the company.
Inside sources at AEW assert that QT Marshall is no longer part of the backstage scene and has been absent from the shows for a number of weeks. Having given his notice several months ago, Marshall secured a brief extension that lasts until the culmination of the year.
There is already outside interest with Marshall, who we’re told at least has some plans that include the Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling trademark. Marshall was adamant that he wanted to perform in-ring while he was in his prime.
Beyond the AEW domain, external interest in Marshall’s services has surfaced, and he appears to be formulating plans that involve the Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling trademark. Marshall has been vocal about his desire to actively participate in in-ring performances while he is in his prime.
We will have to see what is next for QT Marshall. He is already gone from AEW, but he won’t stay a free agent for long from the sound of things.
