WWE RAW Results (12/18/2023):

The opening package for the show airs.

Judgment Day’s music plays and they walk down to the ring. Finn Balor gets on the mic and congratulates Creed Brothers for becoming the number one contenders. He says it is the biggest night for Creed Brothers but it’s another night for them.

Rhea Ripley says if Ivy Nile runs her mouth then she will beat her up. She says they are going to continue to run 2024. Dominik Mysterio says Judgment Day runs all of WWE. R-Truth’s music plays and he comes out to say they left him in the back.

JD McDonagh asks what is he doing out here. Truth says he is in Judgment Day. He says the beatdown last week was his initiation. He says they crossed the line a little bit as he was hurt physically and emotionally. He says he knows Priest didn’t mean it when he said he didn’t like him.

JD McDonagh asks him to leave the ring. Truth says everybody is looking for a fight. He says Rhea wants to beat up on Ivy Damian and Finn are looking to beat up Creed Brothers and he needs somebody to beat up on. He says there is a lot of animosity between them and they should squash the beef in a miracle on 34th street fight. JD says that match is already scheduled and is happening now. He then tells him he is not in the Judgment Day. Truth says this is a loser leaves Judgment Day. Priest says this is a good idea. JD says Truth needs a miracle to beat him.

Miracle on 34th Street Fight: R-Truth vs. JD McDonagh

The match begins and R-Truth attacks JD McDonagh. JD comes back and knocks down Truth. He attacks him in the corner. Truth kicks him and hits the scissors kick. He then whips JD with the belt. JD rolls out of the ring.

Truth kicks him in the face. Truth sends JD into the ring. Dominik Mysterio shoves Truth into the ring post.

*Commercial break*

Truth attacks JD in the corner and slams him. Truth goes to get a table but JD attacks him. He sends him into the ring. Dominik trips Truth but he falls on JD. Truth sends Dominik into the steps. He attacks JD with the fire extinguisher. Truth with a couple of shoulder tackles and he slams him. Truth with a heel kick on JD. Truth hits the five knuckle shuffle on JD.

Truth picks up AA but he escapes. Truth sends JD out of the ring. Truth attacks JD with the Christmas tree and sends him into the ring. Truth sets up JD on the table. He climbs the top rope but is stopped by JD. Truth puts McDonagh through the table for the win.

Winner: R-Truth

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance are backstage and they say they are going to become the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Nia Jax’s music plays and she comes out to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Becky Lynch’s music plays and she comes to the ring but Nia walks out of the ring. Lynch asks if she is scared and says she can say what she wants to say to her face. Jax says she has more important matters to discuss and announces she is entering the Royal Rumble. Lynch says the fans don’t care but they care that she is here.

Lynch says she came here looking for a fight. Jax says they haven’t fought because people are afraid about what she will do to her. She says she will squash her and break her face again. Lynch says she will fight anyone anywhere. She says it is Jax who is afraid about what will happen. She says her entire existence has been on the back of somebody’s name. Lynch says her only claim to face is she broke her nose.

Lynch says she doesn’t want the match because she will be exposed. She challenges her to fight her now. Jax asks for a referee. A referee comes out. Jax teases a match but says Lynch is not going to get a match. She says the match will happen in her hometown in two weeks at Day One. Jax says after she breaks her face, her daughter will ask why she is ugly. Lynch attacks Jax. Security personnel come out to separate her and Jax attacks her from behind.

Kofi Claus is backstage and he runs into DIY. Ciampa says they want the tag titles. Kofi hands them a Jey Uso Yeet shirt. DIY run into the Miz. Gargano says last week was great. Ciampa says it was awesome. Jackie interviews Miz who says Gunther is reeling and Imperium is caving in around him. He says he rocked Gunther’s foundation and he is going to finish what he started.

Intercontinental Championship match: Gunther (c) vs. The Miz

The Miz’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

Gunther’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Gunther takes down The Miz. Miz chops Gunther and attacks the legs but Gunther knocks him down. Miz takes down Gunther and locks in a death lock. Gunther gets to the rope.

Miz knocks Gunther out of the ring. Gunther chops Miz and powerbombs him on the apron.

*Commercial break*

Gunther kicks Miz in the face. Miz tries to fight back but he is stopped by Gunther. Both men exchange strikes and Gunther knocks down Miz. He attacks him in the corner. Miz fights back and attacks Gunther in the corner. He goes for a crossbody but Gunther catches him and places him in the top rope. Gunther knocks him out of the ring. Gunther goes to chop Miz but he catches the ring post.

*Commercial break*

Miz attacks the injured arm but Gunther knocks him down and locks in the cravate. Miz gets out of it and hits the DDT on Gunther. Miz hits another DDT on Gunther. He now hits a tornado DDT. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Miz targets the hand of Gunther who fights back with a dropkick. He then hits a powerbomb. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Gunther locks in the Boston crab. Miz gets to the rope.

Gunther chops Miz and he is begging for more. Miz slaps Gunther and he locks in the sleeper hold. Miz rolls him up but can’t get the win. Miz with the Skull-crushing Finale. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Miz kicks Gunther but he comes back with a clothesline. Gunther climbs the top rope but is stopped. Miz hits a Skull-Crushing Finale off the second rope. Gunther rolls out of the ring.

Miz sends Gunther into the ring. Gunther hits a powerbomb and follows it with the ripcord clothesline. Gunther hits another powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Gunther (c)

Gunther is walking backstage and Imperium congratulate him. Ludwig Kaiser says it was a stellar performance. Gunther says they have no reason to be standing here and celebrating. He says this year has been a write off. He says he is going to take a couple of weeks off but he expects them to work hard and impress him. He walks away and Kofi Claus runs into Imperium. Kaiser asks him to get out of here. Kofi hands him a gift. Kaiser opens it and it is coal. Kaiser throws it away and walks away. Kofi says they need to be all year round.

A video of Shinsuke Nakamura plays where he says while Cody has visions of the championship, he has plans to extinguish his glory. He says the nightmare is over. He says his goal is to see that Cody is living in fright. He says he will be Cody’s last fight. Cody attacks Nakamuran and they brawl to the arena. Security personnel try to stop them. Cody fights them off and goes after Nakamura.

Cody hits a suicide dive on Nakamura. Security separates them as Nakamura gets in the ring. Nakamura retreats away.

Akira Tozawa is backstage with Adam Pearce who is confirming his request. He walks away. Chelsea and Piper come in and asks him to cancel the match. Pearce says he won’t cancel the match but it is next. Green and Niven storm away. Bronson Reed walks in and wants to talk about being Gunther’s next challenger.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match: Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (c) vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance’s music hits and they walk to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Chelsea Green’s music plays and she comes out with Piper Niven.

The match begins and Carter takes down Green. Green comes back and attacks Carter. She slaps Carter. Carter returns and takes down Green. She then hits a dropkick on Green. Chance tags in and hits a senton. Cover! 1….2..kick out. Niven tags in.

Niven knocks Carter off the apron. She knocks down Chance. Carter tags in and knocks down Niven. She tags out but Niven attacks them. She then hits a splash. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

*Commercial break*

Niven goes for a cannonball and misses. Green tags in. Carter also tags in and superkicks Green. She hits her with a splash. Cover! 1….2…Niven breaks it up. Carter sends Niven out of the ring and hits a springboard dropkick. Cover! 1…..2….kick out. Carter sets up Green on the top rope. Green goes for a dive and misses. She catches Carter with a leaping leg lariat. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Niven tags in. Green with the knees to the face and Niven hits the senton. Cover! 1…..2…..Chance makes the save.

Carter superkicks Niven. She tags out. Chance dives onto Niven. Cover! 1…..2…Green makes the save. She hits a German suplex on Carter. Green tags in and goes for unprettier and Chance hits the lawnblower. They then hit the after party for the win.

Ivy Nile is warming up with the Alpha Academy. She says she is ready for Rhea. She says she has asked for a match with Rhea because her goal for 2024 is to become Women’s Champion. She leaves and Akira Tozawa walks in and says he has a match tonight with Ivar. Ivar comes in and stares at Akira before walking away.

Ivar’s music plays and he walks to the ring with Valhalla.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance are backstage and they run into Kofi Claus who congratulates them. They say they got everything they wanted. She says dream to come true and they go party. Natalya says they will need some new challengers. Shayna says that is what she was thinking.

Alpha Academy’s music plays and he comes to the ring with Maxxine Dupri.

The match starts and Ivar tosses Akira out of the ring. Tozawa gets back in the ring and hits Ivar with multiple strikes. Tozawa sends Ivar into the turnbuckle. He then hits a DDT on Ivar. Ivar comes back and knocks down Tozawa. He climbs the top rope and goes for a splash and misses.

Tozawa climbs the top rope but Valhalla distracts him. Maxxine pulls her off the apron and sends her into the barricade. Tozawa hits a senton on Ivar. Cover! 1…..2….kick out. Ivar recovers and hits a spinning heel kick. He then climbs the top rope but is stopped. Tozawa goes for a hurricanrana but Ivar catches him and hits the world’s strongest slam for the win.

Winner: Ivar

Seth Rollins is walking backstage.

*Commercial break*

Seth Rollins’ music plays and he walks to the ring. He gets on the mic and says things have been heating up for him. He says after his confrontation last week, he is feeling more motivated to be the best World Champion in this industry. He says 2024 starts with Day 1 where he defends his World Championship against Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he comes down to the ring. Rollins says he hasn’t forgotten about the headbutt from a few weeks ago and asks him to tread lightly. Drew says he is not here to fight but he is proud of Rollins for stepping up to CM Punk. He says Rollins is on top of the world.

Drew says it probably feels good for him. He says he has been talking a lot about his family. He says he started to feel guilt and after 16 years, he questioned if this is all worth it. He says Becky Lynch is all in the same position he is in and Rollins has been part of the difficult conversations.

Drew says when a family member is sick, they are still chasing the dream. He says he doesn’t want the title but he needs the title to prove that it was worth it and he will do whatever it takes to win the title.

Rollins says he doesn’t know how to feel about it. He says he wants to believe him because his actions and words don’t line up. He says he respects him because he has gotten himself another title opportunity. He asks Drew what makes him think the outcome will be different. He asks if Drew is willing to cheat and take shortcuts. He says he is the same person because he wants to blame everybody else.

Rollins says Drew will do everything except take responsibility. He says the only person keeping Drew from being World Champion is himself. He says he looked CM Punk in the eye in and told him he hates him. He says he pities Drew. He wishes him Merry Christmas. As he walks away, Drew tries to attack him but Rollins superkicks him and knocks him out of the ring. He dives onto McIntyre. Rollins attacks Drew but he is sent into the barricade. McIntyre slams Rollins onto the steps.

Creed Brothers are backstage and Cody walks in and thanks them. He says he hopes they leave as champions tonight. Kofi Claus comes out to distribute gifts. Imperium attacks him from behind. Vinci slams Kofi to the mat. Jey Uso’s music plays and he comes out to help Kofi. He attacks Kaiser and Vinci and sends them out of the ring. Jey Uso dives onto Imperium. He helps up Kofi Kingston. He challenges Kaiser to a match.

*Commercial break*

Jey Uso vs. Ludwig Kaiser

Kaiser knocks down Jey but he comes back with a back elbow. Kaiser comes back with a clothesline. Kaiser goes to work on Jey. Kaiser knocks Jey to the apron. Jey tries to fight back but is stopped. Vinci with a cheap shot on Jey. Kaiser sends Jey out of the ring.

*Commercial break*

Jey with an enzuigiri on Kaiser. Jey with multiple strikes to Kaiser. He hits another enzuigiri and follows it with the hip attack. Kaiser comes back with the Death Valley driver. Cover! 1….2…kick out.

Jey hits him with the superkick and climbs the top rope but Vinci knocks him off. Kaiser with a kick to the head. Cover! 1….2…kick out. Kofi Kingston comes out and hits the Trouble in Paradise on Vinci. Jey spears Kaiser and hits the Uso splash on him for the win.

Judgment Day are backstage and mocking JD for losing. Rhea says if one of us loses, it reflects badly on us. Priest says JD is out of the Judgment Day. JD says R-Truth can’t make decision. Priest asks if he is in control. He then says JD is still in Judgment Day.

Rhea says she will deal with Ivy Nile. Balor says they will deal with the Creed Brothers.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match: Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor) (c) vs. The Creed Brothers

The Creed Brothers’ music plays and they come out to the ring. Judgment Day’s theme song plays and they come down to the ring.

The match begins and Julius takes down Balor. Julius with a hip toss. Priest comes in and is sent to the outside. Brutus also sends Balor out of the ring.

*Commercial break*

Balor attacks Brutus in the corner. Brutus comes back with a knee to the midsection. He tags out and Julius hits a gutbuster. Priest tags in and sends Julius out of the ring. Priest hits him with a clothesline. He sends him in the steel steps. Priest sends Julius into the ring.

Balor tags in and attacks Julius in the corner. Julius tags out and Brutus knocks down Balor. He hits a gutwrench suplex. Brutus with a splash in the corner and he follows it with a slam. Priest tags in and kicks Brutus. Balor sends him out of the ring and Priest sends him over the announcer’s table.

*Commercial break*

Brutus slams Priest. Both men tag out. Juliu suplexes Balor and Priest. He then hits a shooting star. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Brutus climbs the top rope but is knocked off. Julius and Balor knock each other down. Rhea Ripley attacks Ivy Nile but she fights back and slams Ripley on the apron. The Creed Brothers hit the Brutus ball. Cover! 1….2…..Priest makes the save.

Priest goes for South of Heaven but he gets knocked out of the ring. Julius dives onto him. Balor hits the sling blade and follows it with a dropkick. He climbs the top rope but Julius stops him. Priest tags in. Creed Brothers hit Brutus ball. Cover! 1….2…..Balor with the coup de grace. Brutus knocks Balor out of the ring. Priest hits the South of Heaven chokeslam for the win.
