WWE Creative Team’s Current Knowledge About Possible Mercedes Mone Return

Mercedes Mone walked out of WWE in April 2022, and now rumors are swirling that she may return. Now, we have a bit more information about how the flow of information is going concerning The Boss.

We previously reported that Mercedes Mone is no longer under NJPW contract. That opens up a lot of possibilities about her future, but the WWE creative team is not in on the circle of information, if there is anything going on there.

Behind his paywall during a Backstage Report podcast, Sean Sapp noted that the WWE creative team has not been prepped for any sort of Sasha Banks return. That being said, it doesn’t mean that is not happening.

“There was a rumor that went around dumbass Twitter that the WWE creative team was told to come up with idea for Mercedes Mone … that is not true. Now, whether or not she is coming in, WWE creative teams have not been told to come up with any creative for her.”

It is also worth noting that the WWE creative team was not told about CM Punk’s return to the company. They were just as surprised as everyone else to see it happen.

We will have to see what happens next with Mercedes Mone. At this rate, anything can happen in WWE, and it already has.
