Former WWE superstar Matt Riddle has been making headlines lately for various reasons, including his release from WWE back in September. A lot has been going on in his life since then and that includes a potential fight with Jake Paul. In fact, Riddle addressed if he wanted a boxing match with The Problem Child.
The Original Bro had a successful career in the UFC before making his way to the world of professional wrestling, so his legitimacy inside the Octagon is never under question. After all, he never stopped his MMA training even during his time in WWE.
As previously reported, Jake Paul and Matt Riddle are currently in negotiations regarding potential bout. Naturally, a boxing match between the two stars is an enticing prospect for both of them.
While speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Matt Riddle was asked if he wants to square off against Jake Paul in a boxing match. The Original Bro made it clear he is down for the bout.
“I mean yeah, I’ll do anything for some money. But I prefer doing Mixed Martial Arts. So yeah, boxing whatever, kick boxing, whatever. I’ll fight anybody anytime.”
For the record, Jake Paul isn’t interested in an MMA bout with Matt Riddle for a good reason. Riddle also revealed his pro wrestling ventures following his WWE firing, which intrigued fans. Regardless, only time will tell whether Matt Riddle and Jake Paul will come to an agreement in the end.
