Taya Valkyrie made her NXT debut in 2021 under the ring name Franky Monet. Before signing with the WWE, she was one of the biggest female stars in TNA. She has been competing in ROH lately and called out a fan for stealing her sunglasses during the latest ROH TV tapings. Now Valkyrie refuted accusations of being cheap after the controversy.
She hasn’t competed on AEW television in the past few months but has been more active in other promotions over the past several months. Valkyrie squared off against Vertvixen during the recent ROH taping.
As previously reported, Taya Valkyrie called out a fan for stealing her sunglasses during the show. This led to a fan on Twitter accusing her of being cheap, adding that Valkyrie earns more than 6 figures anyway.
”Making well over 6 figures but can let a paying fan have 5 below glasses..smh”
This prompted Taya Valkyrie to finally set the record straight on her point when it came to stealing anything wrestlers used during a show. Valkyrie stated that no one has the right to take anything if it was dropped during a show, whether by accident or intentionally.
”Last thing I’ll say about this because most of you don’t get my point. Just don’t take things that don’t belong to you, that’s it! I’ve spoken to the person, no hard feelings and whatever! If anyone, in any job, drops something, by accident or on purpose, it’s not yours to take 🤷🏼♀️ Pretty simple. Have a great Sunday everyone.”
This is certainly not a good look for pro wrestling fans in general, as no one should take wrestler’s items without permission. We hope Taya Valkyrie doesn’t have to deal with such a situation ever again.
