WWE Executive Caught Off Guard with CM Punk’s Return

CM Punk has been on a roll after returning to WWE at Survivor Series last month and he has become progressively a bigger draw with every passing day, as fans continue to get more and more excited when they see him. Interestingly enough, a WWE Executive was kept in the dark about Punk’s return.

The Second City Saint has appeared on Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown, and NXT Deadline after he returned to the company last month. It has become clear that Punk is simply a major draw for the company.

While speaking on Oh You Didn’t Know, Road Dogg talked about The Second City Saint’s return to WWE after almost ten years. Dogg revealed that he had no idea about Punk’s comeback at all.

“I had zero [idea he was coming back] all the way up until his music. That’s just the truth of it.”

CM Punk is scheduled to enter the ring against Dominik Mysterio as part of WWE’s Live Holiday Tour on Tuesday, December 26th at Madison Square Garden. That’s not all as he is set to compete at Los Angeles’ KIA Forum against Dominik Mysterio on December 30th right after that.

CM Punk has confirmed that he will be part of Monday Night RAW going forward. Punk also confirmed he will be competing in the Royal Rumble match next year. We’ll have to see how Punk will be booked in the coming weeks.
