There is a lot of changes going on in WWE, which has been the case ever since WWE and UFC finished their merger – giving birth to TKO Holdings. Interestingly enough, WWE could see a change in schedule for their shows under the new TV deals.

For a very long time, there were talks of Fox distancing itself from WWE after revealing the annual losses it suffered as a result of its multi-year deal for SmackDown. This led to a lot of uncertainty for Friday Night SmackDown’s future, but fans came to know what would happen to the show.

As previously reported, SmackDown is going back to USA Network after signing a five-year deal with the network. It is slated to begin in 2024 and fans wonder whether it will benefit the company.

NXT will be moving to The CW as well and as for Monday Night RAW, WWE has the opportunity to have talks with Warner Bros. Discovery thanks to CM Punk. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that it is very unlikely that SmackDown will remain on Fridays and it is very possible that RAW could move to a different night, adding that there will be some news regarding this fact within the next two weeks.

I think that there will be stuff in the next couple of weeks most likely. It could be the final deal…it could end up with the status quo. It’s not impossible. It could end up with incredible differences. Just got to wait it out and see. The main thing though is WWE and WBD is not a dead deal and it appeared to be a dead deal before. If they take the deal, it would require WBD to spend well over $350 million per year…WBD may not want to go that high anyway.”

WWE’s fees for Friday Night Smackdown went up nearly 40% with their USA Network deal. We will have to wait and see whether SmackDown will prosper after returning to the USA Network next year and if both SmackDown and RAW will see major changes in schedule in the end.

What’s your opinion on WWE possibly changing schedules for RAW and SmackDown? Which days do you think the shows will land on? Sound off in the comments section below!
