Dominik Mysterio’s WWE NXT Tenure Possibly Over

Dominik Mysterio is still in the initial stage of his career, but he’s already been part of some fierce storylines. However, he was previously defeated by SmackDown star Dragon Lee, who replaced his original competitor Wes Lee at the NXT Deadline. Since Lee has effectively begun his North American Championship reign, it seems Dominik might be done with his NXT stint.

The speculation of Dominik being weened off NXT comes after he was replaced on the NXT show’s banner on WWE’s official website by Dragon Lee. If this is the case, then Dominik is likely to be done with the North American title as well. Lee, at the same time, has already made strides on his first title defense.

Lee faced off against Tyler Bate on the latest episode of NXT and defeated him to retain his championship. While it’s not entirely clear where Lee is headed with his title reign, it’s obvious that he is here to stay.

Furthermore, Lee will be defending his title in the next NXT episode against a member of the ‘No Quarter Catch Crew.’ Dominik, on the other hand, could be turning against Judgment Day, as he called them out for not having his back during his match against Dragon Lee.

Moreover, he went silent on social media after losing the title. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio still has significant backing from the fans, so it is clear that the only way he’s headed is up.
