AEW has signed up a lot of former WWE Superstars, and many were a bit surprised to see them ink a deal with Pac. He was in the middle of a big heel streak in Japan at the time after leaving WWE in the rearview mirror, and many didn’t think he would sign another deal. That happened, but he has also been absent for a while.

Tony Khan brought Pac in as one of AEW’s early signings, but the pandemic and other issues kept him from making the trip to the United States on a frequent basis. Now, he is absent from AEW television after a long stint.

During a Q&A Session behind Fightful’s paywall, Sean Sapp was asked about AEW’s use of Pac, and where the former Adrian Neville is. He revealed that Pac is out of action with a medical issue. He did not disclose what the medical situation is.

“Pac is medically sidelined.”
