Kazuchika Okada is hailed as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and it is not hard to see why. The multi-time IGWP Heavyweight Champion has competed in some of the best matches in recent memory. Okada is also set to make his TNA return after more than 12 years next month. In light of this announcement, the nature of Okada’s upcoming tenure at TNA has been revealed.
The Rainmaker has been part of NJPW since 2007 and is hailed as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time for good reason, but that could soon. As previously reported, Kazuchika Okada is set to become a free agent at the end of January next year.
It was then confirmed that Okada would be competing in his first-ever TNA match in 12 years at the Snake Eyes event on January 14, 2024, in Las Vegas. It was then confirmed during Final Resolution that Okada would team up with Motor City Machine Guns to face Moose, Brian Myers, and Eddie Edwards in a six-man tag match.
During Fightful Select’s Backstage podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Kazuchika Okada’s upcoming tenure in TNA and whether it would be a one-off. Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that it will be a one-off appearance.
”It is a one-off as of now.”
