Ilja Dragunov Suffers Apparent Injury During 12/19 WWE NXT Television Taping Event

Original: Ilja Dragunov worked hard to impress a ton of people and become a real locker room leader as NXT Champion. Now, it appears that he has suffered an injury, and the timing for this couldn’t be worse.

Ringside News has complete spoiler results going for the December 19th episode of WWE NXT. It appears that we have a big spoiler here, and it’s not great news.

Ilja Dragunov is in the middle of an impressive run as NXT Champion. Sadly, it seems his career hit a big speed bump this week during the NXT television tapings. This came during a match with Ridge Holland.

The fact that Ridge Holland was a part of this injury is even more unfortunate. He has been a part of a couple notable injuries, including Big E and Elton Prince. Now, it appears he can add the NXT Champion to that list.

Specifics about this injury situation are not known at this time. This is a very new story, but we do know that Ilja Dragunov was stretchered off after his match with Ridge Holland came to a screeching halt.
