2023 has been a year of highs and lows for AEW as the company experienced a mix of challenges and successes. The promotion faced declines in various aspects, including television ratings and attendance figures and they even lost two big names – CM Punk and Jade Cargill. All is not lost as there are still good things about the company. That said, AEW also abruptly canceled a scheduled talent meeting this month.

The promotion continues to draw good ratings for its flagship show, Dynamite. Additionally, when AEW’s Collision doesn’t face competition from WWE’s premium live events, the show still achieves solid ratings.

AEW has actively worked on replenishing its roster by signing new stars, such as Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay, to full-time deals. A notable highlight for the promotion in 2023 was definitely All In at Wembley Stadium, which they are already on track to sell out for next year’s All In event as well.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, there were plans for a talent meeting scheduled for the December 3rd AEW Collision event. However, it was both planned and canceled. The reasons for the cancelation are not specified, and it remains unclear whether AEW intends to reschedule the meeting in the future.
