AEW World Champion MJF made waves on social media in the final hours of Monday, December 11 when he shared a photo of himself with none other than John Cena. The snapshot was taken at a red carpet event for the upcoming film ‘The Iron Claw.’

MJF, who is set to play a role in ‘The Iron Claw’ as Lance Von Erich, has an additional role as an Executive Producer for the movie. This film, which delves into the story of the legendary Von Erich family, is scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, December 22, with future streaming availability on MAX.

John Cena, on the other hand, has been carving a niche for himself in Hollywood, with notable appearances in prominent 2023 films like ‘Fast X’ and ‘Barbie.’ Cena’s filmography also includes roles in movies such as ‘The Suicide Squad’ and ‘Bumblebee.’

Cena recently concluded his WWE stint at the Crown Jewel premium live event, where he faced Solo Sikoa and suffered a loss. Shortly after this event, the SAG-AFTRA strike came to an end, allowing Hollywood to resume production on numerous films and television projects, subsequently taking Cena away from the wrestling company.
