Maria Kanellis previously voiced her support for Mark Briscoe, who had called out the WWE On Fox Twitter account for disrespecting his late brother’s memory. Kanellis, who showed her support for Briscoe via a tweet and criticized the WWE on Fox account, found herself swamped with many negative comments. Her response was to leave Twitter, but it appears that she is already back on the social media platform.
Kanellis had previously made a tweet fed up with Twitter, saying that “it’s about time to move on.” However, her absence was short, as she is tweeting on the platform once again.
However, her return to Twitter seems short-lived, as in her last tweet, she shared links to her other social media handles so that fans could reach her there. Kanellis’ sudden return doesn’t inspire confidence over the fact that she’s actually going to leave the platform.
The whole situation started with WWE on Fox using the Briscoe Brothers catchphrase “DEM BOYZ” for a picture that featured Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. This caused Mark Briscoe to take offense, and he tweeted in retaliation and even tagged Triple H.
Briscoe has since issued a clarification for his outburst. In a tweet, he wrote, “Oh yea, thatsss why I quit posting on Twitter lol. Just logged back on…woww. Some of y’all are wild lol. I just miss my brother, that’s all, and I got a little in my feelings when I seen the Fox post. @tripleh, you ain’t gotta fire nobody, times is tough. Love y’all..take it light people.”
