The media scrum following AEW All Out event ended in turmoil after CM Punk unleashed a scathing attack on Colt Cabana, Page, and The Young Bucks, verbally lashing out at all parties involved. This incident caused significant damage to Punk’s reputation, and the repercussions have been felt throughout AEW since then. That being said, Punk and Ace Steel’s attorney finally commented on representing them.

Ace Steel was fired from AEW when he was a part of Brawl Out last year, where he allegedly bit Kenny Omega on the arm during the brawl. He was brought back and had been working remotely following Punk’s return as well. He got fired again shortly after CM Punk’s AEW firing as well.

CM Punk and Ace Steel’s attorney Stephen P. New took to X/Twitter and commented on representing the former AEW names after All Out 2022. New made it clear that he was proud of them both.

I am proud of my clients and would not represent them if I didn’t truly believe in them as people. And @acesofsteel is correct. Sometimes clients and friends are family

Ace Steel also gave his unwavering support to CM Punk after his WWE return. Regardless, AEW All Out forever marked the slow descent of the company for many reasons, something that the company is still trying to recover from.
