Bruce Prichard Explains Real Reason Why Dixie Carter Was Backstage at WWE RAW

Dixie Carter was best known for her time as President of TNA Wrestling for several years. She was in charge of the company during its peak years when it dared to even compete with WWE.

However, it didn’t take long for her to lose control of her company due to a lackluster management. TNA Wrestling nearly went into the ground and has never recovered since then.

Despite her previous rivalry with Vince McMahon and WWE, Dixie Carter recently shocked the world when she posted a picture she had captured backstage at WWE RAW. The photo got many fans talking and Bruce Prichard recently provided some clarification.

Bruce Prichard had a working relationship with Dixie Carter in the past when he worked for TNA between 2010 and 2013. Recently, he went on his Something to Wrestle podcast and clarified that Dixie Carter was backstage at RAW because he invited her to the show.

“I’ve always maintained and loved Dixie [Carter]. I think she’s a wonderful person and we remain good friends to this day.” He continued, “[I] reached out, thought it would great since we were going to be in Nashville to invite her to the show and say hello. It was terrific to see her and reconnect and say hello.”

It seemed like Dixie Carter had a wonderful time backstage and was greeted with open arms by several members of the roster. That’s it folks. No WWE signing, no plans for her to work with the company. Just her visiting with Bruce and it sounds like they had a great time.
