CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event has already greatly increased WWE’s stock considering the records he broke after his return. Fans were sad to see him leave AEW, but Seth Rollins believes the issues Punk had in AEW won’t be prevalent in WWE.
CM Punk was fired from AEW back in September after Punk had a backstage fight with Jack Perry at AEW All In. This eventually led to Tony Khan firing CM Punk from AEW. CM Punk and The Elite had a lot of issues right from their backstage brawl at AEW All Out last year, which essentially sowed the seeds of Punk’s eventual exit.
Seth Rollins appeared to be enraged after CM Punk’s Survivor Series return. It was later said that Rollins was looking for Punk backstage, but then it was reported that it was all an angle. While speaking on the SI Media Podcast , Seth Rollins made it clear that he believes CM Punk won’t have the same issues in WWE that plagued him in AEW.
“It’s never gonna get to that point,” Rollins responded. “If anything goes south the way it did anywhere else, it’s not ever gonna get to that point. This locker room is — we’re is a bunch of professionals for the most part over here, we’re a bunch of professionals. I don’t want to go too far into anything else, but it’s just not gonna happen over here and there will be a line drawn in the sand.
Everything is gonna be A-okay in WWE land — I’m feeling very good about that.”
Seth Rollins also had an interesting reaction to CM Punk chants during a recent WWE live event. It remains to be seen whether Seth Rollins and CM Punk will begin their feud soon enough, as fans would love to see it happen.
