AEW star Mark Briscoe lost his brother Jay Briscoe earlier this year. They are recognized for their time together as the Briscoe Brothers during their Ring of Honor stint. They even won several championships, including a record-making 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion title. It appears that a post made by the WWE On FOX social media handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a post in poor taste, which ended up offending Mark Briscoe.
A recent post by WWE On FOX made a post where they shared a picture of Bobby Lashley with Street Profits. They captioned the picture, “DEM BOYZ!” which was the catchphrase that the Briscoe Brothers used for themselves.
In response, Briscoe wrote while tagging Triple H, “For real?? This sh*t is hilarious. Triple H, whoever runs this twitter should probably be fired for lack of knowledge. Or they need the taste slapped out of their mouth for lack of reverence.”
There has been no response from either Triple H or the WWE On FOX handle over the post, which is also considered irreverent by several fans.
The Briscoe Brothers started their career in the year 2000 when they made several appearances at the East Coast Wrestling Association. During their career that lasted more than two decades, they have appeared at Combat Zone Wrestling, Jersey All-Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and more. Their last match was on December 10, 2022, against FTR in AEW.
